When families begin exploring care options for an aging loved one, one of the first and most important questions is about cost. The cost of home care in Broward and Palm Beach counties can vary depending on the type of care, the number of hours required, and the level of experience required for the client.
Senior Pros is committed to providing compassionate, dependable in-home senior care to families throughout the Broward and Palm Beach communities.
Senior Pros’ hourly rates generally range from $16 to $42 per hour, depending on the level of care, number of hours per week, and specialized training required by the caregiver. On average, hourly care typically costs between $28 and $34/hour, and live-in rates can be as low as $14/hour.

Because Senior Pros is an independent, locally owned company that does not have franchise fees and royalties payments to pass along to customers, we can charge our clients less and pay our caregivers more!
Our standard level of care includes 24/7 home care pods to provide an additional level of safety and peace of mind for the client and their family.
Each caregiver is licensed or certified and meets all state requirements, including a Level 2 state and federal background check, mandatory communicable disease testing, CPR training, Alzheimer’s/Dementia training, and most caregivers have additional training in specific areas.
All caregivers speak fluent English, and most can provide transportation to doctor appointments, shopping, social events, etc. in their car or the client’s.
Senior Pros accepts private pay and most long-term care insurance. We can help open your LTC claim and bill your insurance company directly.
We will work to balance your needs and budget to create a care plan. We offer several convenient payment options.
- Rates can be quoted over the phone and confirmed after an in-home consultation.
- We do not require a long-term contract or a minimum number of service days. Clients are billed after service is provided, and the client can cancel at any time with a phone call.
- Senior Pros does not charge overtime for more than 40 hours/week. (This can be a real cost-saver and provide better continuity of care for the client!)
- Rates are for one person in the home. There are no overnight or weekend surcharges.
- Caregivers who use their own car to transport a client or run errands are reimbursed by the client at $0.80/mile. (No charge if driving the client’s car.)
- We won’t surprise you with extra charges, upcharges, service charges, or any other blah, blah, blah charges!
